あけましておめでとうございます！今年も元気に活動していきます！
2/16、今回は上架された状態のヨットの整備を行いました。ヨット部の活動をサポートしてくださっている方から、ヨットの部品の一つである「フェンダー」が壊れてしまったと連絡を受けました。その様子を見に行くため、急遽活動することにしました。フェンダー修理は大掛かりになるため、後日やることになりました。
また久しぶりにヨットに入ったため、ビルジの水出し処理をしました。先週の大雪もあり、ヨットの排水部に水が溜まっていましたので、排水作業が必要でした。排水ポンプも使って水を抜き切ることができました。
今回の活動では、技大の留学生4人も参加しました。物珍しそうにヨットを観られていたのが印象的でした。
活動後はみんなで寺泊までドライブ！久しぶりの晴天の中、さわやかなお出かけになりました。
On february 16th, NUT yacht club worked on the maintenance of our cruiser yacht because a part of yacht called ”fender” was broken.
We removed water from the drain space of the yacht. Tons of snow on the yacht was melted by the warm climate from yesterday and the yacht was on the risk of flooding.
On today’s activity, 4 overseaing students participated. They were curious of our cruiser. They said they may invite another overseaing students from another university.
After the activity, we drove the seaside and visited 寺泊. Under the long awaited warm climate, it was a refreshing outing for us!
